Yesterday I got the information from my agent that my passport have arrived with the VISA. I was really amazed and could not believe it for sometime...CHC,ND has acted so fast in my case.I take this opportunity to thank all of you in this forum, who have helped me so much during the entire process with their inputs...god bless you all...good luck...Peace

Can you please suggest me what can i do in the following situation.

1. Attended for Medical on Nov 4.
2. Sent the RPRF, Passport and Proof of Funds on 26 Nov.

Upto now I didn't get any updates from cic delhi. I enquired with my friends. They told, because of Christmas and Jan 1st they won't work. I will get within one week. Also, I have shown proof of funds as fixed bond. It is expried on 6 th January. Is it any problem.

No, I dont think there will be any problem...what you can do is send them an email asking for the status...they will let u know...good luck

Well wont waste your time, i have submitted my medicals, PP and RPRF on 29th December, now still the status shows IN PROGRESS, canyou please let me know the time duration when shall i get the reply and receipt. My Draft for RPRF was encashed on 8th Jan X.

I recieved passport request on saturday, January 8th from CHC ND, the letter was dated January 4th. Strange thing was it also asked me to pay the landing fee if not already paid and also submit the PCC if not already submitted. I just wrote a letter and provided the copy of the reciept in which me and my wife had paid the landing fee and also the copy of the PCC which we had attached with the application in November and ofcourse sent my Passport in the same package on January 11th. Lets hope for the best.
