My AOR was sent according to my gcms notes and call centre agent but i never recieved it. My gcms note also contains my file number and my application number . pls help me. Must i have to attach this AOR with my application and what to do cos i dont have it handy?????. Thanks

What do the instructions say? It's advisable.

I'm assuming you at least provided them with an explanation letter, outlining your situation?

Hi Ujbaby,

I believe you are talking about applying for BOWP. As far as i know, you dont have to attach the AOR letter, which comes in email. Once you put your client id on the form, CIC can see on the system if they sent you the AOR or not. When i filed for BOWP, I attached a covering letter and mentioned my file no. and the date AOR was sent. So in your GCMS notes you can see when that letter was sent out. You can put that date in your covering letter and also your file no.

Correct, you don't have to as even with your client ID only, the immigration officer is just a few clicks away from getting all your CIC history.

I did personally include a copy of the email as well as my valid work permit along with the explanation letter referring to Operational Bulletin 485 but it is not necessary.

Yah, I included a bunch of things which are probably not necessary. Besides letter stating I'm applying for Bridging Open Work Permit, I also included a Letter of AOR and a letter of employment from my current company. I had them anyway, so what does it hurt to send them in?
