I sent a new LOA through a webform. In 8 days I received an email from the IRCC agent that my documents were transferred to the officer responsible for my application. That is all. I have not had any visible changes in my IRCC profile.
Is this after receiving your AIP?

I’m really afraid right now. Some people are saying that it is an automatic refusal if you defer your intake after receiving AIP. That you must provide reasons of why you are deferring and the reasons must not be (time difference, non refundable, weak internet connection).
My deadline to submit the aip to college was 28th August. I received the AIP on 3 Rd September. And I had already sent the webform on 28th August through agent . So they had mentioned tgis reason and also due to covid situation. It is better to mention tgese kinds of reasons instead of time difference or weak internet.

Any new guys who also deferred after AIP and sent it thru webform?
Can you please let me know while submitting the webform did you choose any embassy ? Because we applied online I'm bot sure which embassy to choose.

Your agent submitted your new LOA with an explanation letter?

I just sent it to the generic IRCC webform where you don’t pick an embassy.

But the problem is when we called ircc customer care they told they have not received any updated LOA yet and they again sent me the link and asked me to resend that again.

Did you include an explanation letter with the new LOA or not?

Ok thanks. Sending the webform is not a problem but we need to ensure that it has reached them and they have updated our gckey account. That is why I am worried.

No didnt include explanation letter
But while applying there is this text box where you can mention any details . There we have mentioned why we are deferring just couple of sentences. In below field of webform :
Your enquiry (required)
Your message must be in English or French, Canada's official languages. (Please limit the text to 1500 characters).

Note: If you are submitting an address change, include your new address (street name, street number, city, province, postal code and country). If you are submitting a change in email address, include and specify your old email address and your new email address.

But you received a confirmation email, right?
That is just an automated email . I am not sure if I can consider that as confirmation. When I asked ircc customer care they told they have not received any. I even told I have got the auto generated confirmation mail. They said they have not got any. And asked me to resend it again

Your agent isn’t the one who submitted it?
