Hi everyone.. nice to see getting a lot of input from fellow pinoys. I tried to skim for information kaso wala ako makita about mga terminologies or mga abbreviations/acronym na pwede nating ma check. Is there such a file or link na pede natin tingnan.. newbie talaga ako dito.

BTW, I'm applying for spousal open work permit and doing it by myself. I applied online without a representative.
On the document checklist, there were only 3 docs required:
1 Application for Work Permit (IMM1295E)
2 Passport BIO pages
3 Recent Photo following the Canadian Visa guidelines.

I've submitted all the documents by scanning them and paid it online as well. All done on the same day - Aug 16, 2013
On top of those three items, nag pasiguro na din ako, I uploaded my spouse's Work Permit, Job Offer and Latest Payslip (even if it was not part of the checklist)

So far eto na yung update from CIC website.

I tried to click on the "Medical Report - Section A Client identification and summary (IMM 1017E)" but it just takes me back to the same page. What am I supposed to do next?
I also noticed sa listahan ng ibang applicants, marami if not, almost all mas na una ang medical exam before na tanggap ang application? Does this mean di pa nila tanggap application ko? Or maybe paper application sila thru embassy? Online lang kasi ako nag apply as per CIC mas mabilis daw online.

kung sa VFS k na nkapag apply try mo around 2PM pwede ka makipag chat sa rep. nila you can about all your concern..makikita mo rin sa website nila kung paano mo matatrack ang application mo..

@ minsky.. yang nasa link andun lahat makikita yung timeline ko. Screenshot yan ng CIC page. When ka nag confirm ng submission? Ako kaka register ko lang and submitted the documents last Friday Aug 16.
Wala ako makitang form sa link? check ko ulit. Nga pala.. may kasama ako kid pero according to the visit canada wizard.. di ko na siya kelangan gawan ng application. May US passport kasi siya.

@ filipinomom: Di ako kumuha ng service ng VFS.. ilang beses ako nag try chat sa kanila.. 48 years bago maka respond. Di rin sila pwede mag bigay ng abiso.. all they can do is gather your documents and help fill out. Yun na lang ginawa ko.. VFS is just a visa application center.. yung ginawa ko na online.. is basically sending my documents directly to the CIC. Less hassle because all I had to do is scan the documents and upload it.

jan 24,2013-email request from emabassy for medical examination
jan.26,2013-letter from embassy for medical request delivered by air21
feb.4-medical request(kasama mga kids)
(kinailangan kong mag sputum test and culture test)
march 8-kids medical exam result transmitted
june 7-my medical exam result transmitted sa embassy

after nun puro status inquiry lng ako pero for review pa daw ng visa officer..

Indeed it is asking me for a medical checkup.

These medical instructions are being issued since your application has been processed to the stage
where medical examination results are now required. Please read these instructions carefully.

IMPORTANT: You are required to undergo the medical examinations within 60 days of the date of this
letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application.

Any tips kung saang accredited establishments mabilis magpadala ng findings?

Any tips kung saang accredited establishments mabilis magpadala ng findings?

They're asking me to take a medical checkup (IMM1017E medical request) na as per the pdf file that was included. I have 60 days to do it.

ahh,,,ang alam isa lng ang accredited nilang clinic ang st.lukes extenson clinic kung tiga dito ka sa metro manila area..pag naclear ka na sa medical exam ang st.lukes na magforward sa embassy wait ka na lng uli kung may hihingin pa ang emassy na additional dox and then kung nasa pa passport mo irerequest nila na ipadala mo sa kanila for visa stamping na..

nice mukhang madali nalang pala. Tawag nalang ako bukas pa sched. Apat lang meron dito sa luzon. I'll probably call one of those doctors sa st lukes sa ermita bukas.

Holy smokes! This is freakin' awesome!

Made me regret in opting VFS services instead of online application.

Anyway, wish you all the luck and keep us in the loop!
