Guys me and my family landed at Toronto Int'l airport last night and were really impressed with Immigration officers as they were very co-operative and friendly !
Anyway just had small interview with Immigration officer for PR card and then we were sent off to Service Canada desk for SIN numbers,once we got done with that we came out of the airport took taxi and went straight to the hotel.
It is very beautiful and sunny day today in Toronto !

Luckily got an apartment on rent here in Scarborough as it really is difficult to find an apartment in such short time.
So will move into new apartment by 1st of October 2013 and then will start paper work like (driving Liecense, Health insurance, school admission for kids etc).

I heard CIC is taking some steps to reduce CEC backlogs but have not heard anything about self-employed category? Really hope they can take actions to make the long long waiting time shorter...

Haven't heard anything from Leo as well and he has been very quite as well.
Well as for my file nothing is happening and my lawyer also told me that MICC is taking
some steps to get the back logs cleared as it is not fair that even after paying so much
money there is nothing happening. My lawyer was expecting some news last Friday but
nothing came up and let us hope something positive comes up today.

I have been following this post for quite a while now. Knowing that you have accomplished your goal certainly keeps our moral (who are still in the process) optimistic and hopeful. So, please be generous enough to tell us about your landing experience and your new life as well. I think it will ease some of the wait tension.
Another thing, I couldn’t help noticing that you have not mentioned when you received investment instructions. How long did you wait for investment instructions after you’ve done your medical exams?

There is no news till today but hope soon will get some good news in Shaa Allah.
