i sent my application on 6 january
they received at on 12 january
my bank draft was cashed on 19 feb
until now i didn't receive any answer
pls advise me what can i do now :-[

I have same situation. My payment was charged on Feb 26 but did not receive anything from them yet. May be they are checking other thing before taking any decision. Good luck!

Hi forum

I have decided to take advantage of the policy of submitting my CHC application, now, i.e before the NEW policy about Language proof comes into power on 10 April 2010. I am gonna deposit my written explanation about the language proficiency ( which i submitted initially to CIO) , believing that the CHC authorities will be fair enough, to consider my case as a pre 10 April case.

You can send your docs with printed email. There is no hard copy letter from CIO for email applicants.

Dear Medo

Getting first AOR means you are eligible for immigration, however, it does not mean that you will definitely get a PR. Take care of your background checks and other educational part, you will sail through.

If DD cashed this means your application is almost approved. CIO takes 60-70 days normally. But in March, CIO was very fast in sending responses (40-50 days). You can contact by email but it will not help because CIO says that you should wait at least 100 days before any contact. They will send you a standard reply.

If you applied using email then do not forget to check your Junk Email Folder. If you applied without email, then you will receive your AOR more lately (normally 2-3 weeks more).

hello all

i am a january applicant for damascus visa office
my payment method was credit card basis being made from my friends credit card in US, a master card

i have received my AOR on around first march which was dated 16th February the interesting point is that my credit card is still not charged!

any advice would be appreciated

Kia, there must be a Human error in your case, or the system has charged but the merchant or somewhere in beween you, CIC and the Credit card company has got something wrong.

Your 120 Days will start when you will get email. Date in email is your 120 Days start line.

No one from Jan 2010 batch got AOR in the last three days. It seems they might sent it in batches. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
