Did you guys received the AOR thru EMAIL or a MAIL..???

Could you please also update the Visa Office where the documents will be sent out and your location so give better Idea what are the processing times for different locations and Offices ??

Just an update, I submitted on 1/15 and still have not recieved anything from Sydney, I can't figure out how it's supposed to work when some who submitted some time after already got an AOR, it seems random.

It seems different CIC offices have different time lines. I am also waiting for my AOR. Some people after me have already got it, so a bit tensed.

There will be AOR soon for you people. Do not worry, CIO send random approval with random dates. so we cannot predict.

Mubbashir bhai are they sending AOR's both by emails and by post mail , after email how many days to receive post mail.
 
Post mail takes approximately 2 more weeks to deliver.

Dear AFS,

If you want to have police certificate from Lahore, You need copy of your passport, NIC copy, 3 Pictures and the Name of your town related police station. You need to go to Central Police Office near courts at GPO Lower Mall Road.

Hello All. Good to see new comers getting AOR fast. and Mubbashir, here is my testimonial about PCC.

getting PCC from Lahore is very straight forward and simple. First Download the form from website mentioned by Mubbashir (i.e.http://www.punjabpolice.gov.pk/page.asp?id=341). Fill and attach three passport size photographs(attested on back from grade 17 officer), one photocopy of ID card and passport (also attested), (one set for each family member who wants to have a PCC), and go to SSP Office in Lower Mall near Katchary. Try to get there around 12:00 pm. Also confirm the police station which covers the area of your current residence.
In SSP office, they will accept your app and will ask to fill another form (in urdu). Here you have to mention your recent address and the name of police station. Correctly mention all the information. They'll give you a token and will ask you to come back after 4 days to collect ur PCC. You may receive a call from your local police station if they wanna have some "chai panni" ;). you know what to do here.

on due date, try to get there before 12:30 pm. they will give u a preliminary PCC to check for ur info for mistakes. if all is well, you have to wait untill 1:30pm for Mr. SSP to sign the letter. then there will be a little speech from SSP and whola. you r done.

have a nice time in making PCCs ;)

Applied under Financial Services Skilled Worker from Australia.
We used David Cohen as our Immigration Attorney, now we are onto 2nd stage.

Will be interested to see what processing time is like in Australia, some was approved within 4 months, but others waited for 12 months.

If you don't mind, can you share how much David Cohen is charging you as fees. What is the lumpsum fees and what if we pay in instalments, please let me now both.

hi i am worried a little... i had sent my documents on 11th January 2010 by registered post. so i don't know whether it has reached there or not. i have not recieved AOR yet...how much time it would take?????? is there any way to confirm from CIO?

AOA, Mubashir if you dont mind can you please tell me that how much total professional experience do you have ?
I am doing two jobs , so when i write personal history and work experience there is overlap in time
like this

May 2009 to present
May 2008 to persent here is overlap
Jan 2007 to may 2009

do i need to explain this ? whereas while describing job duties i have mentioned that i am doing part time job from May 2008 to present. please advise.

Can u send docs to visa office only on the basis of email or u have to wait for Hard letter??

i sent my application on 6 january
they received at on 12 january
my bank draft was cashed on 19 feb
until now i didn't receive any answer :o
pls advise me what can i do now :-[
