Does anybody know or have experience with this.

My husband is sponsoring me to move permanently to Canada, I am applying from within Canada. I know that travelling outside of Canada is not advised as the immigration officer has the right to deny me reentry. My husband is travelling to Winnipeg for business so obviously its still within Canada and we're wanting to know if I am able to fly within Canada without problems. I have a work permit which is proof Im allowed to still be in Canada but it states it doesn't grant me entry back into Canada. But if Im already here it shouldn't be a problem should it?

Flying within the country is never an issue, there is no immigration to pass in local airports

yes thats right ..u dont even need to carry passport ...just driving license or provincial id should be good enough.

So me being from the UK and having to use my passport wouldn't be an issue?

No, you're fine. As long as you stay within Canada and your plane does not make any outside-Canada stops, you will not mess up your application or even have to deal with immigration at all when flying WITHIN Canada. Don't worry!
