I know medical request doesn't mean you're approved or even assessed yet. When I click on my status on ecas (currently "application received"), CIC has three options you can click to see what the flow of the process is. One option is for applications submitted outside Canada. Another is for applications submitted in Canada, and the last is for applications submitted under the federal skilled worker program to sydney, nova scotia.

I'm curious about which of the last two options applies to me: i did submit my application in canada, and to sydney, but not under FSW, but under CEC. Yet, my credit card after CIC charged me the initial fee of $550 was listed as "...FSW".

Very confusing. Which option applies to me???

If I click on the "...submitted to Sydney Nova Scotia", then it looks like they've reviewed my application for eligibility and are now awaiting medical results to make final decision.

Where am I in the process once medical request is made?
