There is a flood in Warsaw and they are evacuating people - and we have an interview in 2 weeks, tickets are purchased ...
I hope the weather will calm down, but nobody knows and they predict more rains..
Should we contact the CIC office? any suggestions? :o

The CIC office will inform you if there is a cancelation. But there is no harm in contacting the office. Better be safe than sorry.

I would think so, but our tickets are nonrefundable, and airports as far as I know are working...
Hrrrr, at first that volcanic ash cloud, now flood.. Hope all be fine and we'll come back alive :)

Bring a blow up boat with you.If for some reason it was not able to take place they will send you likely an email to reschedule. As for your flights if they are non refundable then there really is nothing you can do.Just wait if you dont hear from them and the airports are open then the interview is most likely still on.
Mother Nature what is she thinking?

:D SURE :P

I guess there nothing I can do but just pray :-\

Did you by any chance get insurance on trip cancellation? if you did they you do not need to worry about tickets either..

Nope :( I was trying to get the cheapest tickets as possible ...

Not good..there is still time..lets hope that things will get better...good luck..

Ticket is non-refundable but I think you might be able to change the flight and pay additional fee plus ticket cost difference. Check with the airline to make sure though. Maybe if you don't hear anything about cancellation from the embassy early next week and situation is not getting better, you should e-mail them to confirm if the interview still happens.

two weeks is a long time when it comes to floods. We will all pray for you,but the chances are the floods will receed, and you will get the interview done, and it will all work out but try not to get yourself too all worked up before an interview, relax, if there is a problem they will contact you, i would have imagined people that have their interviews for this week there has heard something already too, buti would think if they were cancelling and rescheduling then they would have to push yours out a few days and since they have not called you to do so, then there is likely no worry relax its going to be a big day for you.

Ohhh, thank you guys for the support and warm wishes! :-*
I'm just freaking out not knowing what to expect... Just want this to be over...

Hope after all this process I won't be a psychiatric clinic patient ;D

I have survived this bologna for a year and a half so just hang in there. (twitches) I am fine

Thanks, my immigration process... actually processes ... took me over 5 years - at first tried in the US without success, then came to Canada as skilled worker, now my husband's....
GOD, please give me patience.... :o just a little bit more.. :P ;D
