Reading throughout the forum I see quite a few people asking for a ride/car pool to do their flag polling, although I'm not able to assist with this right now, I figured starting a thread for everyone would be beneficial to all; especially with sharing the cost of travel and someone to celebrate with after crossing.

Please list in a format similar to this:

Originating/Pick up City: Edmonton
Border Crossing: Coutts, Alberta
Need Ride or Can Provide Ride: Need Ride
Date Planning to Cross: Jan 1 2015

is there any risk to complete landing proc via flagpole? I mean getting rejection from US.

I'm planning to apply for visitor/business VISA for US and wondering if this rejection for flagpole will impact my future application? (I already have 1 US student VISA rejection prior 2011)

I don't have/never had any US VISA (you might have figured that out ;) )

appreciate your response.

I looked into this as well and all you do is when you arrive at the border is tell them that you are doing your flag poll, the border guard will give you instructions on how to turn around and enter the Canadian side so you're not actually entering the US illegally/getting denied that it will hurt your chances.
