First Time Return and problem with CRA registration

Hi,

I have this problem and would appreciate any help. Me and my wife submitted our first return yesterday. We used netfile and and got the confirmation code. Then i went to CRA for registration. For my wife, it went well, But for me, i received the following error

Error—ERR.062
We cannot proceed with your request.

To use this online service, you will need:

your social insurance number;
your date of birth;
your current postal code or ZIP code and;
an amount you entered on your income tax and benefit return, from one of the previous two tax years.

Any idea what went wrong?

It is likely one of the three verification options. I suspect your address.

It happened as well, my wife's address was different from mine.

Call CRA, they will rectify it

Hi there,

For first time to file tax return, you can't register in CRA. Cause it needs income from previous year. Once you already file and have your information in CRA then you can register on my account.

Yes, Same challenge faced by me. Called CRA they said not to worry as it has been received and they do take time in some random cases and that they cannot guarantee a timeline of outcome but also told nothing wrong with return filed at all. So am trusting the Canadian Value systems here of honesty and integrity of CRA

guys after 5 months from my biometric they ask for these:
1- T4 summary 2019
2- CRA confirmation number
3- evidence that arrangement have been made for the mandatory 4 day self isolation period upon your arrival to canada
whats all mean ? is that a good sign ?
