Hello Everyone,
I received my PR in April 2014, I know that it is early to apply for Citizenship right now. I guess we need to wait about 3 years before applying the Citizenship.
Is there anything that i can do now to initiate the process?
Please let me know.

Correct.

It's 4 out of 6 years.

If you meant 3 more years (so 2018) - taking into consideration travels and time spent outside of Canada and subtracting those up -, that's correct.

What you can do now is keep careful track of all trips, even day trips, outside of Canada. Make sure, whenever possible, that your passport is stamped if you visit other countries, and keep all passports (new and expired) someplace accessible.

Plus boarding passes.

And, of course, do ordinary things like file taxes. You can't count a year in which you don't.
