Can someone who's recently travelled from the US to Canada by car as a first time entrant explain the steps they had to go through? We'll be travelling with a valid CoPR and an immigrant visa on our passports.
1) Is there a recommended time slot to drive across the border?
2) Do we have to fill out or sign anywhere on the CoPR?
3) Do we have to present anything else other than the CoPR and visa to the border agent, such as the vaccination records or test results?
4) Where and when is the PR card process initiated? Can we provide an airbnb address for the PR card at first and later change it once the place of residence is finalized and the PR card is yet to arrive? Is there a way we can track the PR card processing?
5) Where can we apply for SIN, Heath insurance and other necessary documentations?
6) Are there any other forms we have to fill out?
