Does anyone have an idea?

I have submitted mine (principal applicant) with my application. Not sure if they will ask for my spouse.. confused

they should ask. I did for both of us.

hi info.123,

there is no definite answer as YES or NO if they will ask for your spouse RCMP fingerprint, the fact that you have been asked is not a strong indicator.
cpp-ottawa runs a criminalty check for all applicants directly because they have an access to the RCMP database, they only ask for fingerprint if your name comes up so they need more proof to verify that you hold no criminal record in canada.many people have a matching names so only the fingerprint can clarify more.

Thanks a lot buddy. I got my GCMS notes today where it says criminality IN PROCESS. For myself(principal applicant) it says NO Reportable Trace and for my spouse no information. I have not submitted my spouse's RCMP. In criminality updates its also says Submitted.. No requests or comments in the Notes section.
I am guessing they will not ask for my spouse's RCMP..
