Fingerprint request before Test Invite

This is a question to anyone who had fingerprint requests before receiving a test invite.

How long did you have to wait before your application was updated?

I received the request on 31st of Jan and did my fingerprint scans the same day via a third-party. My status has not updated since.

I have done my FP on 13-Feb-2018 from Edmonton Police Information Check Office. No updates yet. I guess it may take 1-2 months. Good Luck

Did you call CIC to know that whether they have received your FP?

I got FP request and submitted on Jan 12, i think it was, and just yesterday got my test invite for end of March. Took them 6 weeks ...

Congratulations. You got the Test Invite by Email or regular mail and did your ECase Status changed from yesterday?

Just an ECAS status change. No email. Will wait and see if anything shows up via snail mail the next few days.

So just to update. I just called CIC, and they said they received the fingerprints on the 14th of Feb (after i got them done on the 30th of Jan).
Guess it's back to the waiting game...

Great. I did my FP on February 13 and it was sent on February 14 by RCMP. No update since. Tried to call CIC several times but call got disconnected due to high call volume.

The cic call centre said it was emailed to me. However, I haven't received any email from them recently.

I got an email and a letter in the post.

Both! My spouse got it only via mail last month.
Did you send them to St. Clair office?
