Financial Proof: Parents FD

Hi, I am showing my parents' FD as proof of funds.. I am however confused as to what should i do about it?

1. Do i need to liquidate the FD and transfer money in my account?
2. Do i show a gift deed and officially get the FD transferred in my account?
3. Or do i simply get a bank's statement with their FD existence and a gift deed?
4. or there is something else that needs to be done?

Thanks for your reply.. Technical issue: I can get the FD transferred in my name without liquidating it? along with a gift deed ????

It would be best to get the amount in your account from ur parent account. Then in your account create an online FD in your name. Then make sure than u get a gift deed and affidavit stating the account transactions details and signature from ur parent.
