really aa very bad experience ... I hate to live here.. in such small basements.. always busy in work... very short opportunities for students here... a big pro of part tym jobs... so plzzzzz think before u apply .. we can't earn our fees wid part tym jobs....m missing my mom a lot.. nd u know yesterday I wept a lot.. m telling this honestly... nothing is there.. in india we think canada is a dream country .. bt it's really hard to live here... nd one thing more it's very cold as compared to india.. we can't bear winters.... so plzzzzzz
I m planning to come Back .... so I request u to plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz think

Have patience.......we all face difficulties in the beginning.
Let the time pass and u'll be used to it.

she can apply anytime she wants as long as she has all the required documents and enough funds.

on a side note: dont panic yes it is difficult give it time u will be alright. Have faith it is very difficult for first few months but it gets better. Try to see good things around u.... if u keep focusing on sad things u will never feel good. Christmas lights r coming up go out and take photos . Dont sit inside ur basement go out may be a mall or even in ur college library would be ok. what ur feeling is a cultural shock which will pass.

I felt the same when I came here in sa 5 years ago, but now I prefer to live here more than my home country. Believe me you will be ok after some time.

my uncle nd his all family r living in zermany .. they have multinational passport which they got from Portugal ... now for me he wants to come canada ... bt he has 6 months permission to live in canada .. becoz he had European Passport.. what should he do now for long stay in canada ... reply plzzzzz it's urgent

I hate to tell you this, but it's actually not that cold yet and there wasn't much snow today. The weather is going to get quite a bit worse before it gets better. I was born here and I've never been a big fan of the cold. But as long as you're properly dressed and have a really warm coat - it's not that bad.

If I understand correctly, your uncle has a passport from Portugal. If so, then he can visit Canada for six months without a visa. If he wants to stay longer, then he can apply to extend his visit once the six months are almost finished (however there is no guarantee the extension will be approved).

Common man living out of your home country isn't that bad. You must make new friends and i am sure their are people from india there. After all canada punjab he ta hai. I said that cuz your name seems punjabi. so stay focused on studies and spend less time on thinking about this for few moths, this will do it.

Yeah mate, go out make friends, join student societies and clubs at your college/uni. Get work, I came here 3 days ago, already starting to like it. Stop whining and try to adapt. Things get better if your attitude does, if you stay depressed nothing will ever look up.

It really does get depressing in Canadian cold.
I have been here for like what, 3 years now but still whenever the day daylight savings end, i start getting a bit sad.
