Finally I am a landed immigrant: the story the time line the whole thing......

Hello Folks

Rajani here. I finally received the Passport with Visa. I landed on Feb 5th 2010 after 19 months 10 days of marriage.

I took about One Year 3 months for the process since my spouse filed it.

Now I have to look forward for other things.

Spouse received me at the airport and I am beginning to get adjusted to the weather from the weather of Bengaluru.

Thank you to all the folks who provided me support during these waiting time.

I pray that each one of you join your spouses at the earliest.

Here is the story for those who want to know.

Got married June 2008.

Got Passport in Sept. 2008.

Applied in October 2008 from Missisuage from my husband.

Started processing in Delhi from Dec 2008.

Got some medical issues to be resolved.

DMP was a PAIN IN THE A.....

Finally got all Done June 2009 from medical standpoint.

CHC waited till Oct 2009 so one year occurs.

October 2009 Medical expired, new medicals requested.

Med form sent to me with wrong photograph.

Contacted CHC, they resent the form with right photograph.

Did the medical again. Sent it Nov 2009.

Received PPR Jan 2010.

Sent Passport to CHC Jan 2010 on 4th.

Status on ECas changed to Decision Made Jan 2010 25th.

Got PP back on Jan 28th 2010.

Travelled by Emirates on Feb 5th 2010 from Bengaluru to Toronto and became landed immigrant.
