Hello everyone, can anyone please differ on the PR confirmation portal . What are the stages, e.i. When your first received letter about the portal?

1. When did you receive an email about the portal 2.When did you receive email asking for information?
3.When did you receive your log in details for the portal?
4. When did you declare your presence in Canada, updated the address and uploaded a picture on the portal?

The first email states, "Welcome to the Permanent Resident Confirmation portal process. The attached PDF contains information and instructions regarding the confirmation portal process for your review. Once you have review the document, hit reply to send the requested information outline in the document."

The PDF contains:
We are at the end of the process for your application for permanent residence in Canada.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, IRCC has had to stop in-person services to protect the health and safety of clients and employees. You can now confirm your permanent residence (PR) status through a new and secure PR Portal without an in-person interview.

You, as a client, will have to access the portal yourself. If you’re a representative receiving this message, please forward this email to the clients you represented for their PR application until they were approved. Using the PR portal is the equivalent of going to an in-person landing interview – only the applicant can do so.

To confirm your PR status using the portal:
  • Reply to this email and confirm 1) the email address you want to use and 2) which option below you choose for your spouse/partner and dependants 18 years or older when you applied:
    • Option A, you’ll act on their behalf.
    • Option B, we’ll create new accounts for each of them. Provide a unique email address for every dependant included in your application (spouse/partner and 18 years or older at the time you applied for permanent residence).
  • As the principal applicant, you’ll act on behalf of your minor dependants (under 18 years of age at the time you applied for permanent residence) and any other dependants (over 18 years of age at the time you applied) you choose. We’ll create profiles for them under your account. If you’re not acting on their behalf, each member of your family will have their own username and password.
  • In your response, for yourself and for each member of your family, copy and
    paste this template and fill in the information (check your passport for the dates
    and location):
