Hey, everyone!

So, my husband and I put in our Spousal Application on January 31, 2018.

I (the sponsor) received the letter saying I was deemed eligible to be a Sponsor on Wednesday. And today, my husband received his letter saying that he met the eligibility requirements to become a Permanent Resident.

What is the process from here? Will they send us an e-mail or call us for our landing interview? And do we have to do an interview further proving our relationship before we do the landing interview?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as my anxiety is currently through the roof!

Thank you! :)

Would they send the approval letter to my husband if they still wanted to interview us to further prove our relationship? Or can they still ask for that even after they've sent this letter?

Can anyone confirm for me, are both you and your spouse required to attend for the landing interview or can you go on your own? My husband is stuck away with work and I’m worried he might not make it back if they call me.

You have applied outland or inland application

When you receive your interview letter it clearly states both the sponsor and principal applicant need to attend

Both parties absolutely need to be present. It's mandatory. However, perhaps with the current pandemic situation, you might be able to reschedule (or even do a three-way conference call with your husband, if he's away)?

Yeah everything is approved.

Nothing is confirmed until the landing interview. Others have not been landed if the partner is not with the, if they discover you have not been living with your spouse during inland sponsorship, if there is a relationship breakdown, etc.
