Hi Everyone,
I am planning to submit my citizenship application, I am using online Residence Calculator for dates. For putting the dates in residence calculator, could anyone please guide me what the difference is between:
A *Enter the date when you first came to Canada to live (YYYY-MM-DD).

B *Enter the date you became a permanent resident of Canada (see Box 45 on your Record of Landing (IMM 1000), Box 46 on your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM 5292 or IMM 5509) or the back of your Permanent Resident Card)(YYYY-MM-DD).

I came initially with the intention of landing only in 2010 sep for 20 days and then went back home. Came again with the intention of living permanently in jul 2011.

Answering ' A' above sounds straight forward i.e sep 2010

But what should i fill in 'B', sep2010 or jul2011?

Regards,
an

A & B are the same in your case. When you land you become PR and the 1st time you came to Canada is when you landed. the time you spent out of Canada is an absence / vacation you will mention when listing all absences.
