I am a bit confused and thought maybe someone could help me out.
I have been working at my current company since March 2015 on an open work permit. Because it was expiring on July 5th, I got a closed work permit with the same company for the same position.
Now the form issue:
It asks me in the beginning if I "have a valid job offer in Canada" which I do, though technically it's not an offer, since I am already working there(and have been since March).
In any case, I filled all the following fields with my LMIA info etc. And then at the end it asks me if I am "currently working" which is yes, and if there was an LMIA issued for my job. Now, when I started in March, no LMIA was necessary, so technically, no LMIA was issued for this job, but now, since I am continuing on the same contract, same position, but with an LMIA, do I say that yes an LMIA was issued or No that no LMIA was issued?
