hi guys!

i quote this from CNO, req.#2:evidence of recent safe nursing practice:

"if you are working as a nurse, the College will need a reference from your most recent employer verifying that you have worked a minimum of 1,125 hours in nursing within the previous five years at the time of registration."

* meaning yung pinaka recent lang na employer ang ipa verify? if you have previous experiences/ volunteered at other hospitals hindi na?

and also

* working 1,125 hours in nursing? Hospital based lang ba? or pwede as clinic nurse, school, company nurse?

thanks! God bless to all of us.. :)

Hi FH (hope you don't mind the acronym hehe haba po ng handle eh) Goodluck! Tanong ko lang po kung pano mo nalaman na decision week mo na?
Did you contact your assessor? Ako kasi na-pass ko lang BET ko nung April 3 so technically completed ko palang yung papers by that time.
So mag 2months palang complete ang papers ko. Kaw po how long have you completed the papers? Hay sana magrant tayo lahat ng eligibility para
CRNE nalang ang problem natin.

cool...thanks for the info! Ontario kasi talaga target ko kaya wala pa sa option ko ibang province as of the moment, pero baka
in the future i'll consider it. Pag sablay sa RN eligibility RPN muna siguro. More than a month palang ang tentative decision week ko.

a._____________________ b.______________________ c.______________________

again i am reposting this for your info... you can read it on the previous page actually... nanghihinayang kasi ako kung mag re-take ka pa just to improve your score as i believe it is acceptable already... keep in mind, an english proficiency result is a REQUIREMENT for licensure, IT IS NOT PART OF YOUR ASSESSMENT TO SIT FOR THE CRNE... so wala syang bearing kung mas mataas pa sa required IELTS results nila ang i tu-turn-in mo dahil hindi naman ito gaya ng application natin as FSW na binibigyan nila ng weight (or points) ang scores...

ideally, the CNO will generally demand for our IELTS results after we pass the CRNE in order to finalize our registration... BUT, as written below, if you already have your test results (provided they meet the MINIMUM REQUIRED SCORES for each category), you may request the british council to forward your results to them... so kung mag eexpire na ang IELTS nyo (two years lang kini-keep ng IELTS ang results hindi ba) pwede nyo na i request na ipadala ang results nyo sa CNO to avoid having to re-take the test... i hope this helps...

The CNO accepts both Academic and General categories for IELTS, accepted scores are: 6.5 over all (Writing, Reading, Listening) and 7.0 in Spoken. The CNO does not have an expiry date for fluency tests. Fluency is not a requirement to take the national exam but it will be required to obtain your nursing license in Ontario. If you have already completed the fluency test and would like it evaluated by the CNO please request the testing centre to mail your results directly to the CNO.

well said canimmigrant! In my case, I already asked the IDP to forward my results to the CNO. Yun nga lang wala naman acknowledgement na binigay sakin kung nakuha nga nila.
