I just turned 19 this year and is filing taxes for the first time.
The problem is, I currently reside in Hong Kong with my mom. I was raised in Canada since 7 years old but have been moving back and forth from Canada to HK these couple years due to family issues.
I've moved back to Canada to reside and work a year ago, but came back to HK after about half a year.
So I have worked in some places for a couple of months during my stay in Canada.
I am just wondering how I am to file taxes outside of the country. What papers would I need to fill, would I need any extra forms? Would I be filing electronically through the internet?
I know these are probably rather simple questions but unfortunately, my mother doesn't know how to file taxes so I don't have anyone else to consult. I would just like to make sure everything is done right.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
