My partner and I have been thinking about CIC a lot lately and feel that it's very unfair to those who have had their applications in process for so long and others that have come in front of us and by pass the long wait and processing time. We know that each case is different but at the same time think CIC treats applications very unfair at their VOs.

We were thinking of drafting up a letter to send to the CHC in POS and the Minister of CIC or his office letting them know our frustration in the application process and comment on how the service at the VO is very slow and inefficient. We just want to get this process over and done with and I am sure all of us in here want the same.

Anyway, I think you get where I am coming from. I need your advice on whether or not it'll be a good idea in our favor or an idea that will make my interview more never wracking.

What do you all think?

Go ahead send your letter everyone is entittled to their opinnion. It wont reach the IO doing your interview, but it will likely make someone take a look at your file.I would do it in your case. You might be surprised at the outcome.....or it may just sit in a pile who knows until you try.

I already have an interview scheduled for september so I am not sure if this is the right thing to do right now. I think i will be an ARC case.

With an interview scheduled and you think an ARC (you should know whether you received a removal order or not) the time line for processing can be thrown out the window. Yours is not like the other 95% or so the applicants where there are no problems. I personally think you would be wasting your time writing, but if it makes you feel better, then do it.

i also think CIC has a very slow service compared to all other offices in Canada and of course if you feel like doing a complaint you have my approval
