Hi NVR and Kabooterji, congrats...
Waiting for my AOR as well, but I am expecting it on the last week of this month (Nov).

congrates all sept. applicants who got AOR . i sent application in the last week of sept. and hope to get AOR in the last week of november .

Still waiting for AOR from NS

I have a question. My app reached NS on September 15 and still I don't have the confirmation that NS charged application fee. After sending my app. I also sent an addendum that reached NS on 2nd October. So wht u guys think whether they treat my app. as 15 September filer or 2nd October filers. Seeing Kabotterji getting his AOR (with 12 September file) and me not even getting payment ack. is worrying.

Thanks fm all...Once again i request all members to put important dates in their signature so that it is convenient for all...

I personally think you have sent your original application on15th then you have send addendum on 2nd Oct. They might classiy your application incomplete when it was first received, and will honour 2nd Octuber date. I have seen it happening. But lets hope they accept 15 Sep. Keep watching your email for AOR. Septemeber people have has alreaddy started receiving their AOR.

I sent an update to my application and they considered my original date of document submission.
Good luck

Can I Send the Application to get work permit and permanent visa together. Because I can get a job offer for work permit. This way I feel the job security.....

22=3 year computer diploma
21=work experience
05=relative in canada
10=age
09=ielts ( still not taken ielts exam)
67=Total Point / 100

Which is better

1. Work Permit
2. PR
3. PR after Work Permit
4. PR and Work Permit Together

1. Work Permit doesn't require
proof of fund
relative in Canada
medical exam
POint System 67/100
ielts
and less processing fees and job security
100% visa

2. PR require
proof of fund
relative in Canada
medical exam
POint System 67/100
ielts
and more processing fees and No job security
VISA depends on document....

3. PR after Work Permit doesn't require
proof of fund
relative in canada ( but I have )
point system ( because I got 15 point for arrange employment )
ielts ( less ielts score )
100 % VISA

4. Can I apply for a Temporary Work Permit and a Canada Immigration Visa?

Yes, you can. You may apply for a Temporary Work Permit on its own or in combination with an application for a Canada Immigration Visa. Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) recognizes the concept of "dual intent" whereby, you desire to work in Canada temporarily and thereafter reside and work in Canada permanently.

3. Can I apply for Permanent Resident status and Temporary status at the same time?

You can apply for Permanent Resident status and Temporary status at the same time. Canadian Immigration policy recognizes the concept of dual intent.
