This is getting F***ing frustrating now....

I got my caips and no sign of processing start on it.... Why the hell they dun understand that my AEO expires in 3 months.

I applied well in time and there is no sign yet....

I am on god damn "In Process" with RBVO details since Republic day..... Only one 30 march ftd got meds.....

For all the times I have paid bribes, for all the times I have been cheated inspite of paying the full price, for all the times I have been denied promotion due to sycophants and nepotism, for all the times I have been struck in jams, for all the holidays I did plan but didn’t have money as some non tax paying bastrads had jacked up the air ticket and hotel price, for all the times I thought I will go for walk but was turned down by the dust in the air, for all the times doctors have cheated me , for all the nights I didn’t sleep bacuse of stress—Dear Babaji please grant me VISA. Please, Please, Please, Please, Please Grant me VISA.

yeah PSDEC and SELDEC both are 0 and no points awarded

the only thing is they have found all required documents on file and they confirmed my AEO and found ok (I think so)

and ya one more thing, they do verify the validity of AEO at the time of granting visa. if it is expired at that stage, you wont get visa....

Here absolutely it is not my fault.

TODAY I FINISHED 1 YEAR SINCE MY SECOND AOR :D

So is it that In Process with RBVO details means nothing as far as processing of the file goes?
Is PSDEC still 0 in your CAIPS & no points given in the various selection criteria?

As far as expiry of the AEO goes, you are good as long as you have submitted the application to CIO before the expiry date, no problem there. Only that VO may want to re-confirm with your prospective employer for their interest in still hiring you before processing your file for decision.

Guess nobody can give me a visa for the above creativity but atleast I deserve a +1 ;D

The exact language from our AEO says:

"Opinion Expiry Date: 2013-**-**"

"Please note that CIC will not award points for Arranged Employment if the Skilled Worker's permanent residence Application is received by CIC after this date."

So clearly the award of points means that the expiry date is valid as long as you submit your application before this date, since processing time is not in your control, CIC honors that fact & will not penalize you if they have not made a decision on your file before this date.

This seems logical & will be valid, don't worry.

Gave u a +1.

Just checked, this is what is says:

For SW2 (arranged employment offer) proof of the arranged employment offer (AEO) must be
included in the application. The AEO must still be valid at the time of final determination of
eligibility
and should be sufficiently detailed to support the claim that an offer of employment has
been made to the applicant on an indeterminate basis. The AEO should include the employer‘s
name, address, phone number and any other contact information. If the applicant has a
permanent job offer confirmed by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada
(HRSDC)/Service Canada, a photocopy of the confirmation which was sent to the employer
should also be included. Visa officers should be able to use tools such as on-line directories or
open source materials to confirm the existence of the employer. The visa officer should
corroborate the information about the employer with any NESS employment validations that might
exist in CAIPS.

Final determination of eligibility for processing is the stage before paper review is done. This is the stage when application is assessed against the Ministerial Instructions:

Have one year of continuous full-time (or equivalent part-time) paid work experience in the last
ten years in one or more of the occupations listed in the Ministerial Instructions effective
February 27, 2008; or have an Arranged Employment Offer; or
be residing legally in Canada for at least one year as a temporary foreign worker or as an
international student.

Therefore you have already cleared that stage (your status of In Process with RBVO is a proof of that). All processing henceforth is not counted towards the expiry.

Pls. check the OP-6 once again & interpret the wordings. This is my understanding & may be incorrect.

A poem Dedicated to Sadness will be apt at this juncture:

We are sad people-with sad hearts

sad reasons- for sad thoughts

Sad times- in sad places

so many sad things- to about sad about

and the saddest thing is- our time is running out
