File size limit for a family visas application

Hello Visa Experts,
I would like to know what is the file size limit for a family online application (Study permit, Open Work Permit, and Visitor Visa)?
On CIC website it says 4MB per file that can be uploaded. Does this mean that if I am applying for the visas mention above, the maximum size for all the documents gathered must is 4MB?

Maximum size under each upload field is 4MB.

Thank you for your quick response.
I must assume that there are more than one upload field option per visa application, right?
For instance, for a study permit visa, there are upload fields for application forms and supporting documents, and each upload field has a file size limit of 4MB, am I correct?
