Dear All,
CIC Singapore Office began processing my application for PR in the FSW category on April 10, 2008. Recently I submitted a query making reference to my application file number. I was told that no case specific enquiries could be answered since CIC Singapore no longer retained my file. After I got that reply from CIC Singapore I checked the online status of my file. The status did not mention the exact date that my file was transferred to Sydney, NS. Instead, it still showed the old status message, "We started processing your application on April 10, 2008." I asked CIC Singapore again whether I could use the file number to check online the status of my application. I received another boring reply, "Please direct all your concerns toward Sydney, NS...."
How do I know when my application was transferred to Sydney? Should I send a snail mail to CIO, NS? Is my file number valid anymore? Any thoughts, anyone? Thank you.
