hey all.
im new here but just have a few questions im finding hard to get answered at the moment. (waiting to hear back from my immigration agent, taking his time
)
i am 25 from the uk and have been wanting to live in canada since i was a kid and used to play ice hockey out there.i am planning on applying for the federal skilled worker visa in the next few months.just trying to find out some info first.
1. with regards to the 29 job on the high desirable jobs requirement list. i spoke with an immigration expert about this at an expo and i explained i was in I.T. He said not a problem ,we will fit your IT roles to suit the (1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management ). now ive looked at the description and yes i can see that most roles listed under this are roles i do and have been required to do, but it is not my specific role, i am not a business management consultant i have been required to do all those such roles as listed in the description in my jobs yes. my question is how flexible is this in the Canadian immigrations eyes.
i.e. they are going to see from my CV/work that my jobs titles are not "business management consultant" but that i do and have done all such roles within my IT work ??? how will they view this??
2.i have had steady work for past 3 years within my roles but my previous employment within i hope to use as further workexperiance to show im a 4+ year work experience was with an employer who was a. terrible with paper work and payment was a bit off books for a while and b. has gone under a while back. i don't really see it is possible for me to get either payslips or proof of contracts as specified in the forms from that job.
i know its listed as possible required info. im curious as to how likely is it the will ask for payslip/tax returns etc form all my job and would they understand if i told them that the company has gone under and maybe impossibly to get those records?????
thank you for any help.
regards
David
