I thought there'd be a thread on this, but the latest one to come up on the search is 2009. Sooo….

I'm about to pay fees online for my US husband's spousal application (I am a Canadian citizen, living in Canada).

Do I pay:
Sponsorship application, $75
Pricipal applicant, $475
Right of permanent residence fee, $490
TOTAL $1,040

Orrrr:
The above, AND…
Spouse, common law partner, conjugal partner, $550
TOTAL $1,590

I'm assuming the principal applicant is meant to be my spouse, so I think the first one. But having spouse as an option makes me think I have to pay the extra $550 too.

Please help.

thats what you pay above . print out receipt, fill it in, and attach to application.
