it says "Decision Made' in the status part after "In Process".
Jasmin13, congrats and thanks. Does that not look like the normal rubric that everyone has? When it says "Decision Made" does it still show in the "In Process" that processing has begun? Does it still say:

Medical Results Received by CIC
We have received your medical results. We will contact you only if additional tests are needed.

Approval Status Determined
Your application will be either approved or rejected. We will inform you of the decision in writing.

Permanent Residence Status Determined
If your application is approved, we will send you your permanent resident documentation and a letter saying what we need to finalize your permanent residence.

Again, thank you for your response.

Congrats Harvie. Where do you see "Decision Made"? Is it on the page where you have: "We have received your application on July ..., We have received your medical results..." or on the page that outlines all the other steps?
At this stage, does it still show that " processing has begun" or that disappears?

Thanks
thanks prutus. its on the first side which is underlined. when you click on it then it show

harvie, thanks for the clarification. My timeline does not show that they started processing my application. My application was received on August 9, 2012 but in the diagram that explains the various stages, it says under "In Process" that processing has begun. I wonder what that means. All the best to those who are at the end of the tunnel and to those who are yet to make it through, take courage and with patience, we will all go through! Cheers...

so what I have here in this forum seen and learnt that IN PROCESS means you have passed the ELIGIBILITY.
I assume that there are two way of processing at cio -nova scotia.
1.file received at nova scotia--check (application is complete and processing fee is paid)---cio send aor---after 4-10 day they send medical----when medical received--- cio check if rprf paid and pcc received (criminality) if ok -- In process (file transferred to cpp-o for final review)---- cpp-o send ppr after 8-20 weeks(may be more)
2.file received at cio nova scotia--cio check (application is complete and processing fee is paid)---cio send aor--8-30 days send medical (in this medical-email they write that your file is transferred to cpp-o and all the communication should be done with cpp-o)---long wait (may be they ask for rprfto be paid)---after more than year ---suddenly IN PROCESS (here in process means everything is passed and you are waiting for officer to give ppr)--- PPR in 2-8 weeks.

Hey harvie, is this trend for those who are in Canada? I am currently in the USA and thought this trend was for those who applied to Nova Scotia and whose files were transferred to cpp - Ottawa for further processing?

no no dont panic i wanna just make sure that your visa office is cpp-o and not out canada visa office. so dear friend what my sixth sense say that you have to apply for FBI certificate as soon as possible . and send them an email that your medical is going to expire (or expired) soon and send them updated personal history since august 2012 till present . I am sure (100%) you get in process. all the best
