Does anyone have an idea whether they have started processing my application or not according to my timeline? Thanks.

i have just a curious question for you, did you send rcmp fingerprints with your application ?

No, wasn't on the checklist. Maybe they'll ask for it later or perhaps it's a country-of-origin thing. Never heard of it before!

Since they requested fingerprints and all that stuff, yes, I'm pretty certain you're 'in process.' My Ecas also shows just 'application received' and 'med results received' (but an email to Ottawa confirmed I was actually 'in process.')

Franklee, Ecas doesn't always track properly for QSW. Mine still shows 'Application received' even though I know for a fact that I'm actually in process (Ottawa told me). Don't be too concerned about that status.

What countries have you lived in? I'm pretty certain the criminality has to be checked for each country you lived in and some countries are extremely slow (based on what my friend told me - she works for CIC).

Hope you hear something soon considering you applied ages ago!
China, actually most of my friends are not so slow. I just don't know why for me it's so slow. Ottawa told me the same thing and maybe they are checking your background to make sure you are not a spy or dangerous person.

Thanks. I think as the same. Could you share your timeline?

Did CIC request for your fingerprint or updated history?

Problem is they gonna process a long long long period, like me.
I just made another GCMS yesterday, hopefully some status can changed to passed.
I was expired to get it this year, but now it seems to be wrong, cause christmas is coming then new year.
Probably, if we don't receive ppr before nov 15, we'll not get it this year.

:'( Good luck to all of us. Hopefully, we will get it this year. What is your timeline?

Did they ask for rprf ?
I paid around 1000 at the first time and my police record, fingerprint already in my application, so they didn't ask for it. And right now I feel they ask information update just means they gonna put me I the queue again to wait for some steps.

Hi franklee1114,

I asked earlier what you meant by medicals renewed? Does it mean they asked you redo medicals or they told you they've extended your medicals for another year? Thanks in advance for your response.

I got a email asked me during the year passed did i went somewhere outside canada, did i work or study, they asked me to redo a schedual A for my history. Cause I didnt go anywhere outside canada, they just renew it and extend my med resault to next year.
