Federal Skilled Worker with AEO - is Fast Track processing for PR applicable?

Hi Everyone,

I have a couple of questions regarding processing time for Permanent Residency under Federal Skilled Worker with a job offer (already working in Canada- with Work Permit). Appreciate it if anyone could guide me with this.

1. What is the processing time for PR under Federal Skilled Worker with AEO?
- I see the processing times for different locations on the CIC website, but I do not see anything if you apply within Canada. Or Can you even apply within Canada?

2. Is fast track PR application processing applicable while applying under Federal Skilled Worker with AEO? The reason I ask is that I am kind of aware of PNP + Fast Track, but I believe I would not be able to relocate within Canada (move to another province) for work as my PR will be related to a certain province if did get my PR under PNP. Is my understanding correct?

3. I hear different things from different people (attorneys - I know its not a rocket science to follow the steps to apply for a PR when one is eligible for a PR. But looking at convenience and saving time). One of the attorneys told me that they can apply under Federal Skilled Worker - Fast Track and I may get it within 12months. And the other said it is impossible to get sooner than the times mentioned on the CIC website and there is no "Fast Track" for Federal Skilled Worker.

Thanks Loveson. Did you apply it on your own or did you get an attorney to do it?
I am trying to figure out how I could get the police certificate from US and UK (where I lived for more than 6months) whilst i'm living in Canada. Is there a way to get this online or by some other means? And How long would this take (could I find this somewhere)?

Any suggestions from the members as well?

Owww, sorry did not notice you guys are already in Canada on work permit. What I am interested to know if somebody who is outside of Canada and never been to Canada, got an AEO, applied for FSW, having NOC which is regulated profession in Canada, if CIC awarded points for AEO?

All the current applications were supposed to be "fast track". A Permanent resident is never bound to any province even if it is PNP, however some province may tell you that you have to be working there for some definitive time.

I would not hire the one who says it is possible in 12 months, coz he is clearly lying. A quick advise: I wouldn't go with attorney at all, coz, you will have to do all the work anyways! IELTS, PCC, Medical. All they would do is, probably proof read your application and post it for you, and ofcourse rip your pocket!
