I am new to this forum. I had applied to FSW in January 2008. I used to see message "In process" when ever I logged into the CIC website. I checked logged into the CIC website this month and found the message "Decision Made".

I Googled and found some web pages saying that CIC will be informing you whether you qualify for the next stage or not and they will be returning the fees I had submitted.

After reading some more articles on the web I am now very frightened as to what may be happening. I was hoping that my wait was finally over but now I am very depressed that I have lost 5 years waiting for Canadian immigration and now I may have nothing :(

Is there any hope?

You belong to the pre February 2008 applicants whose files are now closed and refunded by operation of law. Little hope that the ongoing litigation will have positive outcome. Hearings will be conducted at the federal courts in canada this month. tune in to these hearings too update yourself. in the meantime, mull over your options. one door closes, another one opens for you.
 
Has anyone seen the form http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5741E.pdf to confirm your address to get the refund? I am glad I have seen it. I will use it soon. Will wait and see what comes of these hearings but afterwards if nothing, I will wait for my refund.

Is there someone who applied before Sep 2004 and getting "DM" as status?

My friend applied in July,2004. CHC,ND started processing his application on 25.sep-2004

He updated his docs in Dec.2004.

Right now his status is " DECISION MADE".

I feel terribly sorry for him.....

ME TOO... as most of the "DM" are from 2005 onwards and there arr very less for 2004.
 
Dear Members:

I am following the two cases which seems similar to our litigation and there hearing date was 9 & 10 January little ahead of us. These are 1) IMM-3727-12 and IMM-3275-12 may be I am wrong but just want to see what happen in these cases as till today no updates for Jan 9/10 hearing. Please share If any one got from any other source.

Also please elaborate any comments from the caips note.
This will help us to analyze the reason for keeping the files InProcess

When you have updated your documents.... means since when you are waiting for your medicals "MR" and what about your last CAIPS notes >> Thanks.

Dear Members:

Really appreciate if anyone got his/her CAIPS notes after status changed from "In Process" to "DM" so that actual reason may be seen. Please share.

I forget to tell that comments on the CAIPS note are noted in year 2009.
Further there is NO comments of Effect of law for termination (Bill-c-38 section 87.4)
I received my CAIPS in Dec 2012 i.e. after manual review
