I'm living in Canada and I have a PR application in process since June 2011. I got an email in July 4 2013 requesting the Federal Police Certificate. I've followed the instructions and sent two sets of original fingerprints, photographies, copy of passport and my file information to the Canadian Embassy-Immigration Section in Mexico city (Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra 193 Col. Granada 11520 Mexico, D.F). They received my documents on July 10 2013. Can anybody tell me how long will take to get the Federal Police Certificate? and if the Canadian Embassy in Mexico city will transfer this document to the Case Processing Pilot in Ottawa where my application it's being processed?
I'm really concerned since everything it's taking so long and I have a deadline to deliver this document in Ottawa.
