Finally, saw someone got ppr in Feb. 2011.

Thanks guys. 2011 is moving. I'm worrying about the landing process now. I live 40km from the border, but I don't have US visa. I had some issues with americans before and I don't really want to deal with them. Can I land at Montreal airport instead? It's 200km for me, but I would rather go there.

Congrats stanka. U cannot land at the airport unless u entered by taking an international flight. But you can complete ur landing procedure by land by doing flag poling which means you don't need any USvisa for it, just tell the American custom officer tht you don't want to enter in US and here for completing ur landing by flagpoling. They know this bcoz a lot of ppl do this and also CIC recommends this in case anyone don't hav US visa. Gud luck

You can make an appointment and any local office of CIC in montreal and make the landing there, this might take month and so based on the queue they have..

AOR Received: 14-09-2011 (File transferred to Ottawa, ON)
Med Request: 14-09-2011
Ecas : 14-09-2011 Updated with file received on 03-03-2011
Meds Done: 28-09-2011
E-Cas Meds received: ...Early Jan 2012
E-Cas IN PROCESS: 26-01-2012 (file transferred to Detroit, MI)
Original copy of police certificate requested: 26-01-2012
Original copy of police certificate sent: 20-02-2012
Police certificate picked up in Detroit: 22-02-2012
Passport requested: ....N/A

I had a bump in the road with my police certificate but now i'm waiting for a passport request....

Also how do I set up my timeline on the side?

hanisuliman, you should be extremely happy my friend. I wish buffalo can transfer mine to Detroit as well. It has been proven that detroit office is 10 times faster than buffalo office. you're on your way to becoming a PR very soon
