LPP completed finally!! Update date on tracker is June 11, got ghost update on June 12 and it showed up today (June 13). Test invite was from Edmonton office and seems like LPP was processed by Calgary office.

Got Oath in progress update today.

My timeline is as follows:

- Oath Email: Haven’t received yet
- Oath Ceremony Scheduled for: 10 Jul 2025

I may be wrong, but based on diff forums I understand that FP based screening is a new mandate and if you visited multiple countries for considerable time period then interpol level criminal records are being pulled from all countries. So is the delay root cause in addition to the known challenge where an IRCC officers are assigned other important items than immigration.

So having patience is the only way

Yes, I believe this is likely the cause of the delay. I received a request for fingerprints recently, and I did visited different countries before applying.

Hello All. Applied Citizenship application for my parents during Feb15th. Applied online. They were in India when applied but returned to canada April 17th. Updated via contact message that address is changed as well.

AOR Received : 5th March.

No updates since then. Online says as shown below. Do I need to contact Immigration team for update ? Is this abnormal or looks okay ?

When did the background verification complete? I thought it was not possible to apply for citizenship online, when we are outside of Canada. If they do not need to take citizenship test, we need to wait for LPP to complete.
