I don't think the risk is that high in this case, you're already ahead of others in that hyou thought about it.
I did speak to IRCC called my self. Agent mentioned LPP looks complete and should be getting email for oath which be next month.

Also got call from no caller id which was the same officer from email confirming travel history, LPP completion and oath ceremony email would be coming in few days scheduled for sometime in October.

Odd set-up, unusual to get calls like that. But stuff happens.

Bse on the few threads

My understanding is that, after the test completion and before the oath invitation LPP must be show completed on tracker ?

Background verification should also complete but some of the users have reported getting oath emails with LPP inprogress on tracker. I guess thay can be glitch where it is marked completed on IRCC side but tracker never got updated.

Timeline of Citizenship Application:
  • Application Submitted: February 23 (Self)
  • AOR (Acknowledgment of Receipt): March 10
  • Background Verification Completed: March 24 (no fingerprint request)
  • Citizenship Test Scheduled: April 3
  • Test Taken: April 12
  • Test Marked as Completed (Online Status): April 22

Since then, there has been no further progress as of May 30.

Location: Originally Woodstock.
(Processing Office: Niagara)

I submitted a web form to update my address from Woodstock to Brampton. I received a confirmation email stating that the address had been updated. However, when I called IRCC a month later, they informed me that the address still shows as Woodstock in their system. Since I didn’t want to risk missing any further updates or communication, I decided to leave it as the old address for now.

Question: Has anyone experienced this issue? Why might the address still be showing as the old one despite receiving confirmation of the update?
I did not receive a fingerprint request—does everyone get this by default, or is it only requested for certain applicants?
LPP completed on September 17th 2025. Updated on 19th Sep 2025. Waiting for ceremony.

Got Oath Scheduled for Nov-10; Nov I have a situation, travel tkts booked for Nov18.

1) Anyone got success in re-scheduling Oath ? Prepone /Postpone ?

2) How soon can I apply for Passport after Oath and How long does it take for urgent processing ?
Finally, LPP completed today. Now waiting for Oath

You can apply two-three days after the oath (it's possible you could earlier but that's the standard warning), and check the passport office near you for the urgent processing options available. There are 2-3 days and next day options.

You can apply for urgent / Express Same day passport. So they will give you passport on same day but you have to provide your Ticket. Also make sure where you go you might need Visa for that country. For example assume right now you have Indian passport and travelling to India but after becoming Canadian you will need Visa for India.
So my suggestion you can send them email that you are going on vacation and you will come back after this date and attach your flight ticket. So they will rearrange your outh.

Seems it will be cut-2-cut; ah man, finally got this date after 7-8 months. Thanks for your suggestions, will explore.

Spoke to an IRCC agent, sharing what they said for reference to others in the same situation:
1) Since the date mentioned is Nov-10, expect an email invitation with the details and options by Oct 30-31, 2025.
2) Nov-10 date with no email invitation is still tentative; So, the Agent took the dates that we are not available for Oath to update in the file. This will help/inform the officer to select a new event date accordingly.

On a side note: I have also raised a web form for the same.

Hope to see the revised date soon.
