February 2021 Inland Spousal Sponsorship

So, we they received my sponsorship application for my wife February 8, 2021. The first we heard from them was May 27, 2021 when they finally acknowledge that they had received our application. Then, we did not hear anything from them until the end of October when our application was returned to us for being incomplete. How was it incomplete? Well, apparently we failed to sign 1 of the forms - sort of. I say sort of because the form says that typing your name in the signature box counts as a signature, but on the document checklist we missed that it says you have to both type your name in the box and sign it by hand. For that reason the entire application was returned, we lost our place in queue, and had to refile.

Admittedly we did not follow the directions exactly but, ultimately, if the form requires a hand signature they should have removed the part on the form that indicates that typing your name in the box counts as a signature. This 8 months wasted because of a technicality, 8 months of waiting for a horribly inefficient bureaucracy to do its job...8 months to find 1 missing signature. Of course the appropriate response to this would be to send the form back and request that it be resigned...but no, now we have to refile, start from the beginning, and wait another 8+ months to hear anything and likely 1.5 years before the application is approved.

Hi All

For the PR visa I have a few questions if you guys can help with your experience:

1) I made the payment via the payment link received. When would I receive the AWB number and when will blue dart come to pick passport?
2)Which form to fill for height and color?
3) Is there any specific envelope to use or any envelope will do?
4) What all to put inside the envelope- passport, 2 photos, PPR email, height color form? Anything else?
5) The SMS form and consent forms are to be put inside the envelope or hand over to the courier boy?
6) In the SMS form what is SO Done By/Date _______________________ DO Done By/Date ____________________ (After point no. 3). I mean what date to fill in these?
7) Do I need to fill the consent form? I don't understand that form.

Yep, although only got portal credentials last Friday... it took a while for my background check.... turns out they get concerned when you've worked internationally for last 12 years (UK, UAE, Thailand, China and South Korea)... and waiting for all those countries to respond....

Any inland February 2021 who are still in the process? And question for AIP and background check.. I got AIP and my dependen's name was included. Does it mean, my dependent outside Canada passed the eligibility also? Do they check the background check for PA and minor dependent separately?
