I just got my ATIP/Privacy notes (submitted Dec, processed Jan, received today). It said


Residence: Not Started (with due date 2022/April)
Language: Not Started (with due date 2022/April)
Prohibition: Not Started (with due date 2022/April)
Criminality: Passed
Knowledge: Not Started (with due date 2022/April)
Oath: Not Started

I was like ... what the heck. On the new tracker it said

Language Skills: In Progress
Physical Presence: In Progress
Prohibition: In Progress
Background Verification: Completed
Citizenship Test: Not Started
Citizenship Ceremony: Not Started

Paper application here. Is the "one-year" from the date of AOR, but not the date they receive the package?

How frustrating.

Usually it is from the date they received the complete application. However, my G note also shows the due date of year after the AOR issued. Good thing is we are close to the due date. Let's hope we get an updates before the due date!!

Same here pronto, my wife's application was received on Feb 22, 2021. Its been 8 months now and there is no update. Still waiting for citizenship test.
Last update was on June 8 that they started processing your application.

Re: date, I knew it from the report. It has a "date generated" time stamp on the bottom of each page.

So I only "knew" after I got the report.

I noticed IRCC Web Form response time is much faster these days. The shortest I got was ... one day!

Though, it's a "standard reply" ... asking us to be patient ..

It will be great if you are able to provide the answers:
1) After the OATH, how long it takes to get the citizenship certificate?
2) Any signature will be required for the citizenship certificate?
3) or the citizenship certificate will be delivered in the letter box?
4) When the tracker will be changed? right now the OATH is "processing".

by the way, I am a paper based applicant. I have access to both ECAS and the new tracker.

• ECAS: it has stopped updating since Sep 2021
• New Tracker: more up to date (last update Jan 2022)

Just curious if there are folks out there in the same boat..
