I apologize if this is a wrong thread. Does anyone know how long it is taking these days to receive a PR card? I see on their website that it takes 16 days. So does the PR card come under 16 days or it can take longer? What time is not included in 16 days?
I landed on 2nd October. I called on 10th October as I unable to link my application - and found that there were mistakes in my address (street name was misspelt and zip code was wrong). Luckily the card was not sent out yet. I was told that based on the current 17 days of processing, I should get it either on the 18th of October or perhaps the 21st (as the 14th is a public holiday).

The processing time when I landed was 12 days on the IRCC website. Will update once I get my card...

IRCC getting so much overloaded with work that they have taken 90 days extension for supplying GCMS notes after completion of 30 days routine time!

Guys, I have submitted the documents replying for the fairness letter. However, I saw on a couple of forum that the procedding time after a fairness letter may get extended for 3 to 6 more months. Is that true? Does anyone have any idea ?

Hearing that for the first time. Can you share the post/thread where people said it took 3 to 6 months after PFL. But in any case timelines with IRCC are unpredictable these days. One can get PR within a month after that or it may take ages.

I responded to pfl and two days later got to know over the phone that my case is approved. Cases are different though.

i applied through Getgcms
They said there were administrative delays at IRCC’s end and since Aug they got back on track with their 30 day dealine. All those that applied in July (includes me) have started receiving the notes now.

But guys another thing we need to consider is the elections that started there on Sept 11 and end on Oct 21. This definitely can be a major cause of delayed / slow processing of all visa applications. This means the wait will possibly end next week when election results are out.

Any thoughts?

Hello, still waiting on my approval but posting on behalf of a friend.
Can someone share the details on the insurance that they purchased while traveling to Canada for the first time after receiving approval letter? He is looking to purchase a coverage for 1 month.
Thank you!
