That’s what we thought while applying. Which employer would write “guaranteed a job 1 year after getting the PR”. First of all “getting a PR” had no specific time frame these days....grrrr! I’m so mad at them. We are a little lost what to do, and to spend so much time again in the-applying and again waiting for so many months to hear our verdict sounds frustrating right now
Im really really sorry,

Im speculating here in an attempt to see if there is a path for you to appeal, I'm not a lawyer so please consider getting legal advice, but here is my advice in case it is of any help: Is there a possibility that someone in your HR did not validate a call-in request from IRCC in regards to the expectation of you remaining long-term? Just asking because it could be that IRCC tried to validate, and it could be that your HR and your boss are not aligned. May be worth a check especially if correcting that may be a cause to reopen your file. Are you comfortable asking your HR if they received a call from IRCC? And if so in making a remedial documentation that you could share with IRCC under an appeal?

I wish you the best during this hard time.

Hi,

I've submitted for express entry FSW-O from India back in Feb 07, 2019. Just a brief timeline below to help understand our case.

  • 22 March, 2019 : Medical Cleared
  • 23 March, 2019: Received an ADR request for form IMM 5669E for my wife, which we promptly filled and submitted in 3 days (26 March)
  • 26 April, 2019: Biometrics Completed
  • 26 July 2019: Via Ralph Goodale, and via CIC hotline: Eligibility "Recommend Pass", Criminality Pass, Background yet to be started.
  • 10 Sep, 2019: Webform received generic response from CPC-Ottawa saying file is currently in queue for review by officer.
  • 17 Sep, 2019: Filed for GCMS (received note on 12 October saying it's delayed by 90 days)
  • 25 Oct, 2019: Filed a new query for webform seeking update
  • 30 Oct, 2019: Received ADR Request for IMM5669E for both myself and my wife.
I don't understand why after all this time they require the form again?
Have we made any mistakes in the application, especially in regards to these confusing "Do not leave any gaps" section? The ADR request form doesn't say anything specific. It just says

We have begun processing your application for permanent residence, and in order to make a decision we require the following information/documents:
" A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature. Please note that you must provide details since the age of 18 or the past 10 years. Be sure to not leave any gaps."

The fact they wrote, "We have begun processing your application" is also scary.

I wonder if they are doing this just to harass us because we filed a webform requesting an update.
In any case, I know it needs to be filled, but I am just getting paranoid.

Can someone also check my work history and travel history, and guide me if I have left any gaps?
I still don't quite understand the gap process

For instance,
  • 2011-07 to 2012-06 - Education Activity (Masters Degree)
  • 2012-07 to 2014-01 - Employment

Is that fine or do I have to add a column to show a 'gap' between June and July,
  • 2012-06 to 2012-07 - Unemployed

I'd finish my masters by the end of June and by the first week of July I had a job...so I really don't quite get it.
My travel history is worse as I kept flying back home during semester vacations for a period of 10 days, and I've no idea if I've properly written my travel history. The dates are accurate, but again unsure if I've to write it like
  • 2008-04-04 to 2008-08-28 Singapore
  • 2008-08-28 to 2008-08-31 Mumbai
  • 2008-08-31 to 2008-09-24 Singapore and so on.

Any help appreciated.

Dear all,

I tried to reach the agent through Text now several times, but could not get connected. I heard of paid apps like Text me, Fongo. Can anybody please confirm whether these paid apps working fine? Is it worth to pay the subscription? Advise please.

TextNow works fine, I am based in India and I have not faced any issues using the app.
Ensure that you set up the app to use a free Canadian number that is available to you during the setup. Choose an area code for the province that you plan to settle down in.

I made sure that even a single day is not left out. for example, my last working day was 5 aug, and I flew from that country on 6 aug, even for that 19 hours, I wrote unemployed. Also, every gap between courses and jobs were filled accordingly by writing unemployed and looking for jobs, spending time with family etc. out 3650 days, there was not a single day unaccounted in my application. if you leave gaps, then they will send that form again (PS: i never got any ADR). So i would suggest this, even if you finished your course on 29 june and started your job on 1st july, give 30th june as unemployed and looking for job or something.

when it comes to travel history, there is no need to mention travels between your country of origin and country of residence. So, you flying back from to the country where you were studying (country of residence at that time) to your country of origin (home) need not be mentioned at all. only your travels to a third country needs to be mentioned, if there are any.

I don't have the time to go through your attachment now, i will do so when i get time and get back to you
