so did they ask for medical after she got linked the application with Cic account?

Hi,

Yes after she linked app then she was requested Schedule A and Police Certificate(s). A couple days later she was requested Medical. All were requested before I received SA. I got SA after she successfully uploaded her Schedule A and Police Certificates...

Our timeline is below...

I called cic today and the agent told me that they have sent the correspondence to mycic account on March 11th and the deadline to upload those document is april 16th ..but i do not see anything to upload nor any request but the agent told me that he can see that in my account there is a request there ... we got the SA on arch 16th .. then he suggested to submit the technical issue report which can take upto 10 days to reply .. -_- i did that ..but getting fraustated about this ..

Hi yes we have received a letter in email regarding the approval of SA and it says it will hold my application before transffering to the VO until i submit the requested documents ..BUTTTTT there is no req in mycic ..

I can't really remember to be honest. Think it was UCI. Know we tried a few times with no luck and got locked out for 24 hours, but the next day was successful. Probably should have wrote down somewhere how we managed...

Got our application returned after a month for having a birth certificate that was not properly certified. Wow, just one document... No missing forms, signatures, evidence. One month more before we get to live together. And I was wondering why we weren't getting our first AOR. Good luck to everyone.

Got our application returned after a month for having a birth certificate that was not properly certified. Wow, just one document... No missing forms, signatures, evidence. One month more before we get to live together. And I was wondering why we weren't getting our first AOR. Good luck to everyone.

It's so strange that our ECAS just says Application received but they requested us to submit Sched A, PCC and Medicals now. I am wondering why it doesn't say it's in process or something other than Application received, I am pretty much checking ECAS every day but no change. I am not even too sure if our application got transferred to local VO cause there's no word regarding file transfer to VO.

My Ecas is like that. It still shows "we received your application on Feb 10th." No updates even though I've received doc requests and SA. My husband's Ecas does show "decision made." I think they'll email you when your app is transferred to local VO. My guess is that some PA's status won't get updated until the local VO starts processing the app,

Does the birth certificate photocopy only need to be certified if it's not in english? My wife's birth certificate is already in English and I just submitted a copy (not certified).

Other than copies of original documents used for translations, photocopies do not need to be certified. Don’t send originals unless we ask for them, because they will not be returned.

We received an email from IRCC today stating that the application has been sent to the VO in Bucharest! AWESOME!

Does the birth certificate photocopy only need to be certified if it's not in english? My wife's birth certificate is already in English and I just submitted a copy (not certified).

Other than copies of original documents used for translations, photocopies do not need to be certified. Don’t send originals unless we ask for them, because they will not be returned.

They could mean a proper certification by whomever issued the certificate initially. For instance, my birth certificate and my daughter's both had raised seals.
