QUESTION :

I received AOR 2. I have already uploaded PCC and Background form on the Cic linked account.
AOR2 email has a sentence saying that "PLEASE RETURN A COPY OF THIS LETTER WITH THE REQUESTED DOCUMENTS."

Does this mean I will have to send hard copy of PCC and Bg form to my visa office ?

Yes,
Visa offices normally require hard copies of documents, give them a call to confirm.

Hope this helps!

Hello Everyone,
Our application was delivered and signed for at mailroom according to Canadapost on February 16. Till date, we are yet to receive any update. And we will like to know if there are still people waiting AOR or SA that applied before February 16th 2017. All effort made to link the application was negative but after calling CIC, the agent I spoke to told me that the information is not in the system and maybe they have not open my package or input the information into the system. It has been over a month now and I hope it is not missing for any reason. If they sent it back to me I should have receive application back by now.

Just checking if anyone is still waiting that applied before February 16.

Hi there,
Our application was received on the 16th and so far we have received AOR1, SA and 'In Process' status.
Hope you get yours soon.

Cheers

Tell them that you don't have the Application number (for the reason you mentioned) but you can provide them with the Receipt Number.
If you give them your receipt number they should be able to track down your application. This worked for me.

My application was also returned and I sent it back to cic on March 9th (they received it on March 10th). When did you send yours back to them and when did they receive it (the second time)?
Looking at the the data from other applicants it usually takes about 2-3 weeks to get the AOR. So I would suggest calling them after 2 weeks from the time they received your package (the second time).

Also the response from the representatives at CIC defer from each other so I would try talking to at least 3 different representatives.

yea, will try that again some time today..

second time application was received on feb 23 ....

Okay. People are KILLING ME with the google doc. I can open it up randomly to check my days, etc and it's filtered so I can't even view my tracking.

CAN WE PLEASE STOP FILTERING THE DOCUMENT?

It's mega frustrating. I have given up trying to maintain the document.
If you find the sheet in this state you can clear filters by Data -> Turn off filter ( I have done this many times >:( )

Thanks, RPW. I needed that tip.

hey all, I have applied to sponsor my husband and our application was received on February 13th. We have linked our application online and so far we have gotten
AOR1 - 02/03/2017
Medical Request - 7/03/2017
Police Cert. - 4/3/2017

Still waiting for our SA not sure why it's taking so long :'(

However, today we got a letter from CIC asking us this:
Client Information: Please provide a completed Authorization to Disclose Information
Form [IMM 5536]. This form is completed for all persons included in the application that are Pakistani
nationals and above 18 years old.

Does "all persons included in the application" mean that me (sponsor) and my husband (applicant) both have to sign it?

In your case, this is to be filled by the Applicant only!

Hello fellow Pakistani applicant! :D

I am at the same stage as you. No SA yet.

I already submitted the IMM 5536 with my application as it is listed in the country-specific documents for Pakistan on the CIC website. As far as I understand it, the "all persons included in the application" means the principle applicant and any dependents. So if no children, then only the principle applicant (ur husband) needs to sign it.
