I(sponsor) just received an email for what looks like an SA:

The thing is, I have already received another email over a week ago, saying that the application has been forwarded to the Hong Kong visa office for further processing.

We have also included a completed Schedule A in the application package, though we won't have a problem submitting it again now.
Is it likely in my case that they have already processed the Schedule A that we included in the application, and hence they have already forwarded it to the local visa office? And that this email is just an automated notice that all applicants get at this stage?

As of now we haven't received any email on the PA's side to upload any documents. Our page in GCkey is also not asking for anything.

May I ask how long does it take from Aor1 to Aor2 (files being transferred to Hongkong office email)? On the sponsor's ECAS for "sponsorship application status" it does say "Decision Made". Clicking into it shows:

We received your application to sponsor XXXXX on February 6, 2017.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 22, 2017.
We started processing your application on February 21, 2017.


Under the "permanent residence application status" column, it indicates "In Process". Clicking into it shows:

We received XXXXX's application for permanent residence on February 6, 2017.
We started processing XXXXX's application on March 13, 2017.

As long as your ecas is updating you dont have to wait for any emails....some VO offices does not send one

I am also in the same boat as you - also with the Hong Kong VO. My wife's app says they started processing on March 13 but so far, we haven't received any police check requests, AOR2, or anything.

When ecas is showing app in process that means Aor 2. When did you get your aor1?

I have the same story but when I uploaded my wife's PCC and Schedule A form on the very next day i got the eligibility email.

Her status is showing "Application received" right now.

I am waiting for the medical request.

Hi Alok i have also uploaded my forms using IRCC web link but i am still waiting on my SA as its more than 15 days since i have recieved my AOR1.

Hey I got the exact same email. I also submitted the SCHEDULE A upfront. Since we didn't have the UCI and application number...that could be the reason why they asked a "completed" Schedule A. So I faxed it to them again (after filling out the UCI n application number and getting it signed by my husband) and also submitted through the ircc webform. My husband (PA) still didn't get any letter or anything. So I'm really worried :S

The PA receives and email to link the application to myCIC where you can track the application and see if there is any requests for documents to submit.

Lots of people have problems linking the account to the application, hence the field 'Application linked (yes/no)'

Hi how did you fax the forms to them ..whats the address .. they r saying that they have sent me correspondence but i see nothing on mycic ..so i did upload it through ircc form ..also thinking to mail it to them. . Byt dont know which address do we fax or mail them these documents ? Also did u include the police certificate as well ?
