got Gcms note today...security hasnt started yet...application feb 24...sigh...lose all the hope (

When is your application "in process" from?

Also - where exactly did you read security hasnt started - Is it blank or specifically says "not started" under new value/ Update ( and what date was last update)?

The reason I ask is because, Security results are never disclosed in GCMS notes due to national security reasons. I have mine as blank ( 2 month old GCMS notes) - Agent told me its complete.
I wouldnt worry about it too much. There was a guy on this thread/forum, who had the same thing but got PPR in few days ( and he argued with me that how his security hasnt started even after i told him the above)

On the 2nd page of my last GCMS notes, it stated security not started. Everything else was pass.

I believe once it starts it's status disappear from the notes.

And i got my GCMS notes on December 2014, says ur security is in process. Now It has been 5 months and still in process ( even though rest of other thing passed).

in process sincr august 29.It said" not started" and security due date is Mar 21, 2015.so i hope they get it done by now ...

Hi guy's

So I applied for restoration+work permit 9th of APRIL.

when i called cic and told her that madam i did not applied for bowp i appiled for close WP ( WP refusal reason is bowp) i said to her that i’m 101% sure that i didn't, then she asked did u submit ur BC nomination letter i said yes then she said let me look to ur WP application which u submitted “ i was on hold about 7 mins” she came back said there is some error her meant was something went wrong with ur file coz she found that I did not applied for bowp.

Then she said to me that i'm writing a letter note to the officer regarding this and they will look again to ur file, but she said in take a safe side and apply for restoration+wp, which i already applied.


But the thing is guy's why should i suffer for there mistake, it cost me again $700 lawyer fee+ restoration fee+ wp fee.
And the worst part is i can't do work any more coz i'm in restoration status, But any way guy's, if the window is close for u then god open door for u.

My application was also received on Feb 24, 2014. My medical reached its 12th month last march 29 and I also haven't received any email re re-medical.

no garantee that my medical was extended... i just guess unfortulately... it seems likely Feb 24 isnt a lucky day eh ? .. so sad...

February 24th is cursed in the same boat guys.. In Process for 7 months. Now you can finalise everything in 2 months through express entry program..That's ridiculous.. They should have finalise the files which has been In Process more than 12 months first, then open a new program.
I can't plan anything because of this endless waiting. I even thought withdrawing my application and apply through express entry but its too late I guess.
That's not fair for the people who has been waiting for a very long time. Nowadays you can't even reach them through the phone. Line is always busy. To be honest with you, I'm not happy with the service

Paid RRRF in June
Updated AOR and spouse medical in June 2014
September additional document requested - from Marriage fraud investigation section

Turn in Process in ECAS in 26 March 2015 - big relief
PPR e-mail April 7, 2015

Decision made on E-CASE April 9, 2015

Hope everyone will get PPR soon.
