OMG! How great is that news!! So happy for you and us!! Does it still have your address on it or has the address in e-cas changed to the Canadian address?

Anyone know how long it will take for my husband to get his passport back after decision made?

Thanks!! I'm already in Canada, so the address is this one already. I've heard that people had address changed in ecas, but I don't know if that is in all the cases or just in some..?

The passport thing I can't help, because I didn't get passport request. Hopefully someone here knows!!!

Don't look at this on the pessimistic side. Be positive! If it was a rejection they would have given him a chance in an interview first. I never heard of anyone been rejected just like this. After all you guys have a strong case. The two babies? What about them?

I know, I know. It has been such a long process, and the strike, it has messed with my head. My heart is telling me he will get passport this week and be with us in a few weeks. It's my head that is messing with me! LOL
Yes it would be cruel to so easily reject me without a chance for him to have an interview, especially considering we have 2 little ones.

Yes i heard it does change, but maybe in a few days. They may not have sent his passport out yet. Plus you can't count on e-cas being the most reliable thing either.

The stupidest thing is, I just applied for an extension to my visitor status and of course I get decision made for PR the next week from that
I don't know if I would get my money back from that visitor application?! It was only $75, but I would take it back if they just give it!

And to those who have received requested for PP, decision made and PPR visa, congratulations my dears. As for those still waiting, have hope and soon all will be fine.

Well, our process is over finally!

My husband received his passport and visa and landing papers today. He'll be flying to Canada September 13th.

I have no idea how we were the lucky ones who got our visa with the strike going on. Looking at this spreadsheet and the New Delhi 2013 spreadsheet i am just baffled. I'm grateful and thanking our lucky stars.

Tom can you update the spreadsheet.

My Ecas changed to "In Progress" on Aug 20th, they started processing my application on 13th August - first word I've heard in a long time! Glad this process is moving into final stages...!
