2174 is NOT a new NOC code .. Even some Work Permit of 2012 is having this NOC code.

You misunderstand. No one is saying it's a "new" NOC. They are saying it's been newly added to the FSW 2013 list of occupations...

Guys i would like to ask is i applied CEC last february 2013 and they already send my AOR. My questions are if i quit my job and transfer to another company will my application will be on jeopardy? and second my wife is on open work permit because of my skilled work permit can she work elsewhere even if a have a work permit that is not a skilled position.

As long as you wrked for an year which is CEC eligibility it wont affect your application

Agreed! I'd say even late September, early October....if the current numbers are an indicator. And those are an average value...so if your case is complicated (not simple), I'd say 10-11 months.

When did you apply for notes? Is your ecas showing app received or in process? Anything about eligibility?

CEC2013 WE HAVE THE SAME TIME LINE! ANY UPDATE?

Got my GCMS notes last week and there was nothing conclusive in them. I just shipped off additional documents (NOA, T4, pay slips and a letter from HR on my contract) in hard copy....I sent them electronically earlier this year, but didnt see them attached in notes, nor did I get a reply from CPP-O. So, I'm doing double this time - sending electronically and hard copy as well.

Other than that....unfortunately no movement on file. I did notice someone from DEC may have gotten an MR today, but yet to see details. I'm also tracking on my own the average processing times for months preceding our apps (Jul to Jan). Looks like most are sitting around 8 months...only quick ones get around 6.

I was actually gonna do the same....FSW and CEC, but then they paused FSW and later removed my NOC from it. Anyways, I just sent the last of my documents and now the final wait stage begins.

Just want to know the eligibility portion....the rest I can wait for, even if its 13 months. The eligibility part is whats worrying me!
